# Moonleap > Moonleap is an iPhone app that shows when a baby's developmental leaps (short, fussy stretches often followed by new skills) are likely to come, counted from the due date, what the baby may be learning, and how to play along. The chart, the signs for every leap and the diary are free; there is no account and no ads. General information, not medical advice. Last updated: 2026-10-15. Full page content: https://moonleap.app/llms-full.txt ## What it is - A personal chart of ten developmental leaps from the due date to about 18 months, each drawn as a moon that is full at the peak. Counting from the due date means premature babies are counted right. Newborn weeks 1 to 4 are covered before the first leap. - A chart that adapts: parents rate each day with one tap, and Moonleap compares the baby's moods with the leaps and suggests shifting the timing (leaps often come a week early or late). - A diary where every note and photo is tagged with its leap; each month becomes a shareable Leap Story card. - App Store name: "Baby Leaps & Diary: Moonleap". Made by Darko Jovanovski, an independent developer in North Macedonia. ## Who it's for - Parents of babies from birth to about 18 months who want to understand fussy weeks, sleep regressions and growth spurts in plain words. - Parents who prefer an app with no account, no ads and data kept on their own iPhone. - Both parents: the diary can be sent to a partner's iPhone and merges without overwriting; Plus is shared through Apple Family Sharing. ## Key features - Ten-leap chart with dates, reminders before each leap, and export of every leap to the iPhone calendar. - For each leap: what changes in the baby's world, signs you might notice, tips for fussy days, and when to call the doctor. - 120 new abilities and 150 milestones, shown as windows, not deadlines. - 80 play activities with photos and easy steps, organised by leap. - Ask Moonleap: questions such as "Is this a leap or teething?" answered by Apple's on-device model from Moonleap's guide and the parent's diary, with sources. Nothing typed leaves the iPhone. Written answers need Apple Intelligence; other iPhones get the matching guide pages. Symptom questions are always pointed to a doctor. - Night mode for 3 a.m.: red light, a calm checklist, soft brown noise. - Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and a Dynamic Island Live Activity. - Several babies in one app; light and dark themes; available in 50 App Store languages. ## Platforms - iPhone, iOS 17 or later. Not available for iPad, Android or the web. ## Pricing - Free: the full chart for all ten leaps with dates, signs for every leap, leaps 1 and 2 in full, the diary with photos and daily mood, Ask Moonleap (3 questions a day), widgets and night mode. - Moonleap Plus (all ten leaps in full, 80 play activities, 150 milestones, unlimited Ask Moonleap): $29.99 one-time, or $19.99 per year with a 1-week free trial, or $3.99 per month (US prices). Shared with Family Sharing. ## Privacy - No account, no ads, no tracking. Baby data stays on the iPhone and, if the parent turns on sync, in their own private iCloud. Anonymous usage stats and crash reports can be switched off in Settings. ## Alternative to - Alternative to The Wonder Weeks app: the same idea of a leap chart counted from the due date, with the chart, signs and diary free and no account. Moonleap is not affiliated with The Wonder Weeks or its publisher. - Alternative to Kinedu, BabySparks and the Lovevery app for stage-based play ideas in the first 18 months (Moonleap organises 80 activities by leap; it has no video classes or physical play kits). - Not an alternative to feeding, sleep or diaper trackers such as Huckleberry or Glow Baby, and not a developmental screening tool such as CDC's Milestone Tracker. ## Key pages - [Website](https://moonleap.app/): what Moonleap does, pricing and FAQ - Beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/tqqUBfAu (free public TestFlight beta for iPhone; open now) - [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6822464045): Moonleap for iPhone (App Store ID 6822464045; live at release) - [Free baby leap calculator](https://moonleap.app/leap-calculator): enter a due date to see when each of the ten leaps is likely to start, peak and end; works in any browser - [Moonleap vs. The Wonder Weeks and other leap and play apps](https://moonleap.app/wonder-weeks-alternative) - [Links](https://moonleap.app/links): TestFlight beta, website, calculator, support and legal pages in one list - [Support](https://moonleap.app/support) - [Privacy Policy](https://moonleap.app/privacy) - [Terms of Use](https://moonleap.app/terms) - [Full site content as Markdown](https://moonleap.app/llms-full.txt) - Contact: hello@moonleap.app
